This position reports to:
Planning & Fulfillment Manager

As a Material Planner, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory, including Sales in Excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice. Each day, you will support internal customer service inquiries. You will also showcase your expertise by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.

The work model for the role is:
Hybrid in New Berlin, WI, Supporting the Motion High Power division.

• Defining inventory policies based on specified segmentation.
• Calculating and maintaining the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPs.
• Analyze potential shortage; assign valid notifications to Purchasing team; troubleshoot inconsequential warnings and adjust SAP parametrization when applicable.
• Collaborating with buyers to achieve the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, Minimum Order Quantity, quality, lead time, and flexibility.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Similar, and 3+ years of experience in material planning.
• Progressive experience with SAP Materials Management module (preferred) or similar experience in another ERP system.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Power Query, Power BI and data analysis.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Proactivity, teamwork skills, continuous improvement mindset, result orientation and ability to work under pressure.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
