Overview
GPAC partnered with a growing manufacturing company seeking a Purchasing Engineer
. Compensation is based on experience.
- Manage Fabrication RFQs
- Communicate with customers regarding their RFQs
- Create RFQs to steel suppliers and outsourced services (generally machining) for customer quotes using BOMs, drawings, and/or models
- Create drawings using 2D AutoCAD and 3D models
- Assist in creating estimates by entering material pricing in ERP
- Purchase steel and outsourced services for winning bids
- Bachelor's in Engineering
- 2+ years with AutoCAD and 2+ years with 3D CAD (Solid Works, Inventor or similar)
- 1+ year purchasing of steel components
- New grads or about to graduate are welcome to apply
