Brief Description

Dae Sung, LLC is currently seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic-Building Engineer to support our contract to provide operations and mechanical maintenance services at the Hastings Keith Federal Building in New Bedford, MA. Working

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

This full‑time union position offers vacation, sick leave, paid holidays and a pension plan in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

• H.V.A.C Level I – $40.78
  • Qualifications:
    
    One of 3 certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, UA Star), EPA Universal CFC certification, GSA approval.
  • Duties: HVAC responsibilities, pursue/receive HVAC local/state journeyperson grade license.
• H.V.A.C Level II – $44.86
  • Qualifications:
    
    One of 3 certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, UA Star), EPA Universal CFC certification, GSA approval.
  • Duties:
    Supervisor responsibilities, HVAC responsibilities, pursue/receive HVAC local/state journeyperson grade license.
• H.V.A.C Level III – $47.93
  • Qualifications:
    
    HVAC local/state journeyperson grade license (excess of 10 tons), one of 3 certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, UA Star), EPA Universal CFC certification, GSA approval.
  • Duties: HVAC responsibilities.

This position requires a minimum of 5‑8 years of experience in building maintenance and operation, including experience with large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment. Candidates must be competent in performing operations, preventive and corrective maintenance on BAS, boilers, chillers, hot water heating systems, domestic water plumbing systems, air handlers, VAV components, and other HVAC equipment and building systems. General maintenance knowledge of complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is also required.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D is required.
• Universal EPA or CFC certification is required.
• Technical training in HVAC is highly desired.
• Candidate must achieve NATE certification within 6 months of employment.
• Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License is required.
