As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and act as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations.
Salary and Schedule Details- Hourly pay rate: $16.00 – $16.50 depending on skills and experience.
- Eligible for annual pay increases.
- Part‑time position with a variable schedule. Average weekly hours: 12–15.
- Availability required the week before and the week after major holidays, including weekends.
- Day‑to‑day engagement:
Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products. Communicate with supervisors and provide feedback. Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores. - Holiday support:
Work additional days and extended hours during major holidays. May be required to work on holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, etc. - Department resets:
Assist with installation and relocation of Hallmark fixtures, card departments, and product sections. Receive two‑week notice for remodel assignments; may involve evenings or weekends. - Team support:
Act as part of a network of merchandisers; support other team members as needed.
The position requires a high level of energy and urgency. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing throughout the day are required, as well as climbing stairs and ladders.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Proficient reading, writing and understanding of English.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to operate a digital handheld device.
- Access to Wi‑Fi network and internet.
- Reliable transportation to travel to assigned stores as scheduled.
