Role Description

This is an on-site contract role located in New Bedford, MA for a Human Resources Consultant. The Human Resources Consultant will be responsible for managing and implementing HR policies, overseeing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws. They will provide strategic advice on HR management, assist in handling workplace challenges, and support the overall development of HR strategies that align with organizational goals.

Other tasks may include handling performance management processes, addressing workforce planning needs, and conducting employee training sessions.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management
  • Proficiency in developing, implementing, and managing HR Policies
  • Experience in facilitating Employee Relations and addressing workplace challenges
  • Solid understanding of Labor and Employment Law, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on-site in New Bedford, MA, and collaborate effectively with team members
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) is a plus
