Position: Part-Time Outpatient or School-Based Clinician ($3500 Sign-On Bonus!)

Part‑Time Outpatient or School‑Based Clinician (Sign‑On Bonus $3500)

Child & Family Services, Inc. is offering a part‑time outpatient or school‑based clinician position with a base hourly rate of $30–$35. Your actual pay will depend on skills and experience.

Summary

The clinician provides consistent, high‑quality care and psychotherapy through evidence‑based, culturally competent treatment. Services are delivered in outpatient clinics, schools, and the community, including behavioral health urgent care with same‑day or next‑day access.

Clinic Hours

Monday–Friday 8 am–8 pm;
Saturday & Sunday 9 am–5 pm. Flexible schedule; 20+ hours per week.

Incentives

  • $3,500 signing bonus ($1,250 at 3 months; $1,250 at 6 months; $1,000 at 9 months)
  • $1 per hour language differential for eligible languages (Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Spanish, ASL). Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged.
  • MA graduates welcome; offers pending verification.

Job Description & Essential Functions

  • Provide a safe, welcoming, and clean environment.
  • Perform trauma‑informed assessments.
  • Conduct short‑term individual, couples/family, and group therapy for clients with mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Maintain a yearly production expectation based on hours worked.
  • Complete billable services within 24 hours of event.
  • Use collaborative documentation as a treatment modality.
  • Coordinate care across health and behavioral health services.
  • Make referrals or link to care coordination, peer support, and recovery services.
  • Support transitions of care, including aftercare planning.
  • Provide crisis management services and coordinate with Emergency Services as appropriate.
  • Serve as a community educator, delivering mental health information.
  • Use evidence‑based interventions such as motivational interviewing to develop person‑centered treatment plans.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule with an open‑access model (in‑person and telehealth).
  • Maintain a caseload and accommodate walk‑in appointments.
  • Keep records per CFS, funding sources, and accreditation authorities.
  • Participate in all required supervision and training activities.
  • Keep EHR calendar updated for centralized scheduling.
  • Maintain CANS certification.
  • If licensed, complete ongoing education to maintain licensure.
