Overview

Housekeeper I – Southcoast Health – St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford, MA.

Hours:

20 hrs per week.

Shift: Evening shift, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm with weekend and holiday rotation.

Work location:

St. Luke's Hospital – New Bedford, MA. Salary: USD 16.32–22.94 per hour. Eligibility for a $500 new‑hire sign‑on bonus (re‑hired employees with more than 1 year of service also eligible).

Under the general supervision and direction of the Team Leader, Environmental Services or designee, perform various duties to maintain clean, orderly and safe conditions in all assigned rooms/areas.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum age 18 is required.
• Ability to clean and service assigned areas according to established methods and procedures with minimal supervision.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19, or be exempt with a signed statement certifying exemption from vaccination once hired.

USD $16.32–$22.94 per hour. Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Rotation schedule:
Every other weekend and holiday.
