Job Description: Program Supervisor | HIV Care Coordination
New Bedford, MA | $54,400-$65,000/year | Full-Time Leadership
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm | No Nights, No Weekends
Position Overview:Lead Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program operations for an amazing non profit organization serving the community. Manage federally-funded HIV care services, supervise program staff, ensure grant compliance, and coordinate with state/federal agencies to improve quality of life for patients living with HIV.
Requirements:Education & Experience:
- Associate's degree minimum (Bachelor's preferred).
- HIV care knowledge (prevention/treatment) preferred.
- Grant management and oversight experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience in healthcare or social services.
- Community partnership and collaboration background.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (not required).
Program Management:
- Supervise Ryan White program staff and operations.
- Ensure federal/state grant compliance and reporting.
- Participate in monitoring calls with HRSA and funding agencies.
- Collect and analyze program effectiveness data.
- Oversee quality improvement initiatives and performance measures.
- Remove barriers to HIV care and address health disparities.
- Collaborate with clinical teams (Nurse Managers, Medical Directors).
- Serve as patient advocate and resolve incidents.
- Facilitate Consumer Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
- Represent program at external forums and state/federal meetings.
- Coordinate outreach and community partnerships.
- Attend community meetings and build stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure training participation and professional development.
- Lead weekly departmental meetings.
- Manage programmatic staff performance and growth.l
- Passionate about HIV care and health equity.
- Strong grant compliance and reporting skills.
- Excellent problem-solver and listener.
- Experience working with diverse, underserved populations.
- Collaborative leader comfortable with external stakeholders.
- Monday-Friday only (no nights/weekends/holidays).
