Overview
Job Title: Child Care Contract and Subsidy Administrative Assistant
Position Summary: Assists with the management of the association childcare after school and camping adjustment process. State billing in conformity with YMCA internal controls, state regulations and generally accepted billing practices. This is a part-time position, 15-20 hours per week.
Essential Functions- Collect and monitor weekly childcare attendance reports
- Monitor state CCFA attendance weekly.
- Manage PACE vouchers, and Y EEC contract assessments in accordance with state guidelines and ensure 100% capacity contract enrollment.
- Manage Y Kinder wait and distribute enrollment letters in a timely manner.
- Monitor and adjust contract & voucher placements.
- Calculate childcare parent fee and enter accounting adjustments into Daxko.
- Meet with parents to complete assessments and reassessments on a monthly basis.
- Serve as a resource to parents and childcare directors for questions.
- Experience in contract and data management.
- Proven ability to accurately enter, evaluate, identify discrepancies, and process numerical data in various forms, statements, records.
- Demonstrated competence in use of office software products including Excel, Word, and proprietary accounting systems.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently and under deadlines, and complete all assigned responsibilities without supervision.
- Experience in dealing with confidential material.
- Ability to interact with various levels of the organization, outside vendors, auditors and other agencies.
