With our ongoing growth, we are looking to have a Die Estimator join our team.
Die Estimator Job Description:
- Analyze project specifications, CAD Data and GD&T Requirements to determine the cost and timing of required tooling.
- Gather information from vendors and suppliers as required.
- Prepare and submit detailed proposals and quotations to the Engineering Department.
- Work with engineering, production and sales teams to ensure die estimates are completed in a timely manner.
- A deep understanding of tool and die design and build processes.
- Ability to make detailed strip layouts.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, analyze project requirements and make informed cost estimations.
- Strong math skills for calculations related to cost estimations.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with customers, engineers and production teams.
- 5 years estimating experience.
- 5 years experience in die design and/or die making.
- 3 Medical Plan Options (Employee Contribution)
