Performs cycle counts, inventory audits and physical inventory. Corrects daily inventory discrepancies on a timely basis. Works under the direction of the Department Leader, Operations Control.

• Performs daily cycle counts to written procedures while identifying and correcting daily inventory discrepancies on a timely basis.
• Monitors expiration date of inventory and rejected inventory to ensure proper storage in designated areas.
• Records and reports transaction errors to supervision.
• Checks and verifies packaging and shipping picking orders for accuracy.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

High school diploma or its equivalent is required.

Must get certified on the cherry picker to perform cycle counts immediately following hire date; and remaining PIT equipment within 6 months.

Requires a minimum of one to three years’ experience in warehousing and/or inventory control with a knowledge of standard office procedures, warehousing and manufacturing operations.

Requires:

• Basic knowledge of spreadsheet software along with an intermediate knowledge of math with sound problem solving abilities
• Must have used MS Excel and other MS Suite applications
• Must be a good communicator, with the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Overtime may be required during peak periods.

• Minor features may be disturbing to the employee, but accident hazard is unlikely.
• The incumbent will be required to work at heights up to 30 feet during the course of the workday. Frequent, intermittent, intense and/or close attention to detail. Fairly tedious.
• Requires travel from warehouse to warehouse.

• Limited exposure to disagreeable elements.

• Must be willing to follow all safety procedures, practices, PPE guidelines at all times including GMP requirements where needed.

The salary range for this position is $36,000.00 - $58,000.00
