Golf Starter​/Ranger

New Albany Country Club is seeking a friendly, reliable Starter/Ranger to help deliver an exceptional golf experience for our members and their guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being outdoors, loves the game of golf, and takes pride in great customer service.

• Greet members and guests in a warm, professional manner

• Enforce course rules and maintain proper pace of play (4 hours, 20 minutes or less)

• Ensure the first tee runs on time and communicates effectively with the Golf Shop

• Monitor play on the course and assist golfers as needed

• Support daily golf operations, including:

  • Assisting guests on arrival and departure

  • Cleaning golf carts

  • Emptying on-course trash

  • Maintaining course restrooms

• Use an iPad to manage tee times and course communication

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license

• Familiarity with the rules and etiquette of golf

• Friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude

• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Khaki slacks, black belt, black athletic shoes

• Club-issued golf shirt and optional club-issued hat

• No visible logos other than New Albany Country Club

• Rain and winter gear provided as needed

• Employee meals while on duty

• Staff uniform provided

• Golf play and practice privileges (with supervisor approval)

Pay Rate is $12.00/hour
