Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineering
Job Description
We are looking for a Specialist Manufacturing (Full‑time/Contract, 12‑month term, hybrid work model – one day per week WFH) to work in New Albany, OH.
Responsibilities- Support the execution of manufacturing and quality systems such as continuous improvement, technology transfer / new product introductions, process and procedure development, risk assessment, process validation, training, and non‑conformance.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for cost reduction or cycle‑time reduction and participate in special projects or initiatives.
- Monitor process parameters and control limits based on KPIs; recommend improvements and collect data to assess deviations.
- Act as document owner: initiate, revise, and approve manufacturing procedures to reflect current operations.
- Assist in creating training materials and provide training on scientific or technical aspects of the process.
- Participate in technology transfer / NPI processes to assess documentation, material, training, and equipment modification requirements.
- Assist with investigations, corrective actions, and NC/CAPA closure within established goals; monitor incident trends and support trend evaluations.
The ideal candidate will have a B.S. or M.S. (4+ years of study) and at least 2 years of experience as a process engineer with a demonstrated ownership of continuous improvement initiatives.
Pay Range and BenefitsPay Range: $35.00 – $41.00 per hour (successful candidate pay will depend on education, experience, location, and job duties).
