Data Center DCO Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and infrastructure sector, is seeking a Data Center DCO Technician to join their team. As a Data Center DCO Technician, you will be part of the technical support department supporting the IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Center DCO Technician

Location: New Albany, OH

$23.50 per hour

Schedule:

Day shift, 12-hour days, 6am-6pm, Wed/Thu-Sat

• Maintain and support hardware infrastructure of cloud computing server technologies.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues, performing break-fix repairs on faulty components.
• Prepare, stage, set up, and execute startups and shutdowns of IT equipment following safety protocols.
• Conduct quality checks post-installation to ensure proper grounding, labeling, and cabling.
• Decommission hardware for system refreshes, including memory upgrades and OS rebuilds.

• Experience as a Data Center Technician with hardware break-fix responsibilities.
• Previous roles involving computer repair or technical support, such as Geek Squad or similar.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to work on-site in New Albany, OH.
