About the Role:
We are looking for an energetic and dependable sterile compounding pharmacy technician. As part of the pharmacy team, you will use your knowledge of USP 797 to compound medications that are safe and effective for patients, under Pharmacist supervision.
Shift differential is available for overnight shifts.
You Will:
Adhere to the safety and environment procure as outlined in the Site SOPs and wear appropriate PPE while executing daily tasks.
Compound sterile medications.
Perform the component preparation, the formulation of the solutions, perform the aseptic filling of the solutions and/or inspection and packaging of filled units
Perform daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities according to facility SOP’s.
Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleanroom suite support responsibilities including, but not limited to compounding materials and supplies preparation, equipment calibration, cleaning, dishwashing, and sterilization or depyrogenation of equipment, according to facility SOP’s.
Document compounding-related and daily, weekly, and monthly activities according to facility SOPs and as required by USP 797 Communicate with pharmacists and report on issues in the lab.
Utilizes equipment as instructed by the pharmacist.
Completes training as required by USP 797
You Have:
Current registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio and National Certification (CPhT)
Strong communication skills and can work independently.
Full time role 40 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ year compounding experience (nonsterile or sterile)
Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician® (CSPT®)
