P6 Scheduler - Commercial Construction

Location: New Albany, OH (Onsite required; ~20% remote after 6 months)

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Duration: 6 Months (CTH)

Pay Range: $52-$63/hr (DOE)

A leading national electrical contractor is seeking an experienced P6 Scheduler to support the planning and execution of a major data center construction project. This role partners closely with the Project Manager to develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules to ensure ontime delivery across all phases of construction. This is a high‑visibility opportunity with a company that has over four decades of industry success and is experiencing significant growth.

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
  .
• Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, general contractors, and subcontractors to monitor progress and resource allocation.
• Identify schedule risks, delays, and conflicts; proactively recommend corrective actions.
• Support weekly and monthly reporting, including schedule updates, forecasts, and critical path analyses.
• Coordinate with field leadership to track installation progress and adjust timelines as needed.
• Assist in building and maintaining project calendars and implementation schedules.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and other construction documents to ensure accurate scheduling.
• Contribute to process improvements and support a strong, professional project culture.

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Primavera P6
  .
• Commercial construction scheduling experience.
• Strong understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong communication skills and confidence presenting schedule updates to stakeholders.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated, and proactive.

• First 6 months:
  Onsite daily for collaboration with construction teams.
• After ramp‑up:
  Approximately 20% remote flexibility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.

The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $63.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
