Overview

Live-In/Out Nanny Position in New Albany, OH. A warm and active family in New Albany is seeking a high-energy, experienced, and patient live-in/out nanny to join their household as soon as possible. This role has a schedule of 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM four weekdays per week, plus one weekend day. The family values flexibility and is seeking someone dependable and eager to support their dynamic home.

They have four happy, smart, and curious children: a 4-year-old girl, a 3-year-old boy, a 1-year-old girl, and a 4-month-old boy. The older children have established school and nap routines, and the infant is currently cared for by the mother, with plans to gradually transition his care to the nanny around six months of age. Both parents are highly involved, with dad working from home and mom a stay-at-home parent, so the nanny will rarely be responsible for all four children at once.

The ideal candidate is intelligent, energetic, patient, and adaptable to the needs of a growing family. The position is located in a safe, upscale country club community with nearby parks, making it perfect for outdoor activities. A "can-do" attitude, a proactive mindset, and experience managing multiple young children are highly valued.

• Provide afternoon/evening care for the children, with weekend support as needed.
• Support the family in managing the children’s routines and activities, including the older children’s school and nap routines.
• Assist with the infant’s care as he transitions to nanny care around six months of age.
• Collaborate with the partner nanny who may handle overnight and some weekend duties.

• The family requires standard vaccinations (MMR and Tdap) and prefers COVID and flu vaccines.
• A willingness to travel occasionally (e.g., a week for vacation a few times per year) is negotiable.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25+/hour based on experience, along with benefits including PTO, sick days, and paid holidays. The start date is ASAP.

• BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study
• CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)
• Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
• A passion for working with children
• Two+ years childcare experience
• Excellent work and personal references
• U.S. driver’s license (this does not apply to NYC residents)
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus
• Competent swimmer
• Non-smoker
• Willingness to go through extensive background check
• Must be live-scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident
• Willingness to show proof of immunizations
• No-cell phone driving signed guarantee
