Our client in the property management industry is seeking a skilled Property Accountant to support financial oversight, monthly close, and audit preparation across a diverse property portfolio. • Oversee a portfolio of properties, handling monthly journal entries and reconciliations
• Review outstanding AP items and perform balance sheet audits to ensure accuracy
• Prepare, clean, and finalize financials during monthly and year-end close
• Support reclasses and provides required documentation during audits
• Ensure the Property Accountant maintains accurate records and supports financial compliance

• Hands-on general ledger experience with a solid understanding of the full accounting cycle
• Experience with Yardi and affordable housing (HUD) accounting
• Background in senior living, LIHTC, Medicaid, or other related environments is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple properties effectively
