Overview
New Albany Housing Authority has an immediate opening for a Maintenance II position.
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance at assigned housing development(s) with minimal supervision; may work independently or on a crew; perform general maintenance, repair, HVAC and construction in accordance with local code and Uniform Physical Condition Standards (UPCS) using power and/or hand tools.
- May be assigned to specific functions and duties requiring power and/or hand tools to perform general maintenance, repair, HVAC and construction as needed.
- Respond to emergency and overtime calls as required.
- A detailed job description is available upon request.
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least six months of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions; ability to prepare short correspondence and reports.
- Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide; ability to perform operations using units of weight measurement, volume and distance.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Current driver s license and acceptable driving record for insurance carrier of agency.
