Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN will utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Coordinating interdisciplinary care and discharge planning.
• Teaching patients and families post-hospitalization and connecting to community resources.
• Performing additional duties as assigned, including charge nurse duties (ACLS certification required).

• RN license in the state.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification preferred initially; required after 90 days. ACLS required day 1 for charge nurses, high observation, and ICU.

Experience:

One year of inpatient medical‑surgical nursing preferred (though not required).

Preferred (not required):

• Experience in emergency or critical care.
• Comfort with ventilators, tracheostomies, PICC lines, etc.
• Two years of direct patient care experience.
