Job Description: Seeking Nursing Assistant for Baptist Health Floyd, Neuro Intermediate Unit. Part-time (24 Hours Weekly), Days (7am-7pm). Benefit Eligible.

• Under general supervision and according to established procedures, function as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.

The Neuro Intermediate Unit (NIU) is a 41-bed unit specializing in Neuroscience and Progressive Care (PCU) step-down nursing. With nurse-to-patient ratios of 3-4:1, our team provides high-quality care to adult patients. The unit comprises 15 Neuro-specific beds and 26 intermediate beds. We work as an interdisciplinary team with 24/7 leadership on the unit, including two clinical coordinators on days and nights and a stroke coordinator.

Common neuroscience cases include ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, TIAs, seizure/epilepsy, degenerative disorders, autoimmune disorders, and CNS disorders. As a certified Primary Stroke Center, we are recognized as a state-of-the-art stroke care center. We value teamwork, clinical expertise, professional growth, and mentorship. • BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
