Position Title: Product Development Engineer

THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED ONSITE AT SAMTEC - NEW ALBANY, IN
Summary/ObjectiveThe Product Engineer will design and develop solutions related to the following criteria: capacity expansions, cost down, market needs, product redesign/review, risk mitigation, and quality (internal and external).
Essential Functions / ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities as defined are intended to serve as a general guideline for this position. Associates may be asked to perform additional tasks depending on strengths and capabilities
Required ExperiencePowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Medium Work Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds from floor to waist.
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
- Technical or engineering experience can substitute for preferred education.
