Job Details Responsibilities
Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.Report to management regarding the finances of the organization.Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end‑year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity, etc.Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.Coordinate and complete annual audits.Provide recommendations for improving the organization's financial performance.Manage Work‑In‑Progress (WIP) accounting and reporting.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.CPA is a must.Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in the construction industry.Proficiency in WIP, Monthly Reporting, Financials, and Vista Construction software.Strong understanding of accounting theory and principles.High proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.This role is a perfect opportunity for a seasoned accountant looking to take your career to the next level.
