Responsibilities

Fleet and Critical Site Infrastructure (FCSI) is looking for a motivated, self‑starting Senior Maintenance Specialist to assist Fleet, Fuel, and Equipment (FF&E) as the Fuel Administrator. This position will report to the Fleet and Fuel Supervisor and is located at the NNSS in Mercury, NV. The role requires interaction with multiple layers of management and employees in MSTS and demands detail orientation and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fuel Administrator for the NNSS: ordering fuel, billing (Recharge), monitoring fuel inventory, preparing fuel reports and requisitions, entering new vehicles into Fuel Management Database (), activating and deactivating fuel cards (WEX/NTS), resolving fuel card issues, executing cash sales, and preparing quarterly fuel tax reports for state reimbursement.
  • Interpret mass data, analyze results using statistical techniques, provide ongoing reports, including acquiring data from primary and secondary sources; maintain currency in environmental training and licensing.
  • Operate and maintain Fuel and Tank Monitoring Management software for the Nevada National Security Sites.
  • Monitor fuel service station functionality and resolve issues with dispensers and other station peripherals.
  • Coordinate service calls for maintenance and repairs at fuel service stations and bulk fuel tank farm.
  • Comply with applicable fire codes (NFPA, IFC, OSHA, etc.) to ensure safety and mitigate hazards.
  • Work with outside vendors and internal departments to resolve payment and other relevant issues.
  • Prepare hazardous waste management documents for delivery drivers.
  • Document and report vehicle fleet data and fuel data from system back‑door using Open Database Connectivity.
  • Identify/report information on fuel tanks located throughout NNSS and surrounding subsidiaries regulated by the State of Nevada Air Quality Operating Permit (AP.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with Fleet Management Organizational Procedures.
  • Coordinate visitor and annual vendor badging.
  • Report data to satisfy policies and regulations pertaining to sustainability.
  • Fleet Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Coordinator: manage Electric Vehicle Monitoring system (ChargePoint), prepare EVSE reporting, and interface with project managers until completion.
  • Activate and distribute electric vehicle charging cards.
  • Assist project planning for EVSE installation.
  • Work with both Fleet Electric Vehicles and Private Electric Vehicle users to resolve charging issues.
  • Monitor all onsite electric vehicle charging.
  • Update ChargePoint dashboard to reflect current pricing policies.
  • Keep internal employee contact roster for POV EVSE users.
  • Prepare and update company documents pertaining to departmental duties.
  • Plan, track, and report department goals and objectives.
