Parks & Recreation Operations Manager

Overview

Successful hands-on leader to plan, implement, direct & oversee all Parks & Rec. activities & operations, incl. recreation/fitness center, swimming, tennis, pickleball, parks, senior svcs, children’s svcs & beaches. Ensuring fiscal responsibility & high-quality recreational service delivery based on community preferences.

• Plan, implement, direct & supervise all Parks & Rec. activities and operations across facilities and programs.
• Oversee recreation/fitness center, swimming, tennis, pickleball, parks, senior services, children’s services & beaches.
• Ensure fiscal responsibility and high-quality service delivery aligned with community preferences.

• Bachelor’s degree (BA) from an accredited college or university, and 5 years of experience in recreational services, at least 2 of which were in a management role;
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent organizational, administrative, analytical, interpersonal & customer service skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines & adapt to changing organizational needs.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills; ability to prepare clear, concise reports with exceptional attention to detail & commitment to data integrity.
• Valid driver’s license and CPR/AED & Standard 1st Aid certifications or obtain within 12 months.

• Salary $110,781-$155,206/yr (min-max), DOE/DOQ
• Includ. medical/dental/vision/RX, paid sick/vacation, retirement & recreation privileges.
