Goldstrike - Underground Electrician

Nevada Gold Mines is looking for an Underground Electrician to join our Goldstrike Underground Electrical Team.

Reporting to the Underground Electrical Supervisor, the Underground Electrician is responsible for the following:

• Required to troubleshoot and perform all electrical repairs as required on underground and surface equipment, as well as stationary equipment
• New electrical installations as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Two (2) years underground electrical experience
  preferred
• High voltage experience
  preferred
• Formal electrical training and troubleshooting background
  preferred
• Ability to read complex prints and a good understanding of electrical codes
  preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proven track record of being a team player
  required
• Exemplary safety performance and attendance record
  required
• Ability to accomplish physical labor under all weather conditions
  required
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job
  required
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role required
