ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Underground Electrical Supervisor, the Underground Electrician is responsible for the following:
- Required to troubleshoot and perform all electrical repairs as required on underground and surface equipment, as well as stationary equipment
- New electrical installations as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Two (2) years underground electrical experience preferred
- High voltage experience preferred
- Formal electrical training and troubleshooting background preferred
- Ability to read complex prints and a good understanding of electrical codes preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proven track record of being a team player required
- Exemplary safety performance and attendance record required
- Ability to accomplish physical labor under all weather conditions required
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required
