We have an opportunity to join a collaborative, diverse, and dynamic mining company. The Communications Technician will work in our Underground Maintenance department at Nevada Gold Mines.

Responsibilities And Qualifications

• Install, maintain and repair digital trunked 2‑way radio systems.
• Operate a volt‑ohmmeter.
• Install, test and maintain mobile data and truck tracking systems such as Mobilearis.
• Operate a digital and analog wattmeter.
• Install, test and maintain Cisco Wi‑Fi system.
• Operate a computer system for data management and report generation.
• Operate a 2‑way radio service monitor.
• Learn to install, test and maintain VOIP phone equipment.
• Install fiber optic cable and network equipment.
• Comply with state and federal health and safety regulations, company policies and procedures, and the company's environmental compliance policy.
