Goldstrike - Underground Maintenance Electrician

Description:

Nevada Gold Mines is looking for an Underground Electrician to join our Goldstrike Underground Electrical Team.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Underground Electrical Supervisor, the Underground Electrician is responsible for the following:

* Required to troubleshoot and perform all electrical repairs as required on underground and surface equipment, as well as stationary equipment

* New electrical installations as required

* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Two (2) years underground electrical experience preferred

* High voltage experience preferred

* Formal electrical training and troubleshooting background preferred

* Ability to read complex prints and a good understanding of electrical codes preferred

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proven track record of being a team player required

* Exemplary safety performance and attendance record required

* Ability to accomplish physical labor under all weather conditions required

* Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required

* The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role required
