OverviewThe Account Executive is responsible for maximizing sales growth profitably by representing Shamrock Foods' products and services to restaurants, resorts, hotels, and other institutional establishments on a commission basis. The role requires face‑to‑face interactions and regular territory development.
Responsibilities- Prospect new customers and build a territory to grow the customer base.
- Maintain current customer base and grow the share of the customer’s business.
- Impact customer success through menu engineering support, food cost analysis, market intelligence, and product demonstrations.
- Facilitate demonstrations of company capabilities and share new product innovations.
- Build multi‑level relationships within client businesses.
- Keep accounts current, optimize sales, service, and delivery, and collect past‑due balances.
- Leverage technology to improve customer efficiency and drive experience enhancements.
- Participate in ongoing training to continuously develop skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- HS diploma and/or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus.
- 2+ years’ experience in culinary, restaurant operations, food service, or related field preferred.
- Previous successful sales experience a plus.
- Current driver license.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving expertise.
- Comfortable using technology and analyzing customer data.
- Knowledgeable on industry trends.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
Starting compensation of $40,000–$100,000 per year based on achievement of performance goals, eventually transitioning to commission‑basis.
