The Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and executing comprehensive pest and disease management strategies across True Harmony Company’s fully automated 250,000-square-foot greenhouse and associated cultivation environments. This role provides both strategic oversight and hands‑on leadership to ensure plant health, regulatory compliance, and alignment with sustainable, science‑based IPM practices.
The IPM Manager serves as the subject‑matter expert for pest biology, beneficial organisms, and environmentally responsible control methods, while building scalable systems, documentation, and training programs that support consistent, high‑quality cultivation outcomes.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced IPM professional with a strong foundation in agricultural science and greenhouse production, preferably gained in non‑cannabis environments. You bring deep technical knowledge of insect life cycles, conventional pesticide and fungicide application, and biological control strategies, along with the leadership skills needed to build programs, train teams, and partner cross‑functionally with cultivation, operations, and compliance stakeholders.

- This is an on‑site position at our Ely, Nevada location at 30955 N. Alt, US‑93, Ely, NV 89301 (Near intersection of US Rt 93 & US Alt Route 93).
- Typical Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Some weekends required.
The IPM Manager is accountable for the overall design, execution, and continuous improvement Kontrolle of the company’s integrated pest and disease management programs across indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse cultivation environments.
- Lead all pest and disease management efforts to ensure optimal plant health and yield across production areas.
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine IPM strategies that balance biological, cultural遭 and chemical controls.
- Oversee scouting programs, pest monitoring systems, data collection, and analysis to proactively identify risks and trends.
- Design and manage treatment plans, application schedules, and response protocols for key pest and disease pressures, ensuring all activities are safe, effective, چيلف compliant, and fully aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate pest‑related issues and determine appropriate corrective actions using data‑driven decision‑making.
- Build scalable IPM systems, tools, and workflows that integrate with automated greenhouse environments.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, usage, and disposal of pesticides and related materials; maintain required certifications and records.
- Develop, maintain, and improve SOPs, work instructions, logs, and other documentation related to IPM activities.
- Train, mentor, and develop IPM staff; create visual guides and training materials related to pest and disease identification and response.
- Research, evaluate, and trial new products, technologies, and methodologies to improve pest management outcomes.
- Partner with leadership to develop and manage departmental budgets, including monitoring and controlling IPM‑related expenses.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with cultivation, operations, compliance, and safety teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations governing pest management and agricultural operations.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Entomology,nicu or a related field strongly preferred.
- Possession of a Qualified Applicator License (QAL), Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC), or the ability to obtain a Private Applicator Certificate.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in integrated pest management within a greenhouse cultivation environment.
