Schedule:

Full Time, Rotational On-Site Stay Schedule of 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off. 44 hours of guaranteed overtime pay. On-site stay with lodging and meals provided at a remote camp site in Northern Nevada. Excellent opportunity to earn and save great pay fast, with more time off than a typical 2-day weekend.

  • This is an on-site stay (lodging and meals provided at no cost).
  • Salary: $14.00 per hour + benefits. Checks are paid weekly. Total weekly pay with overtime is $1448.00.

Requirement:
Prior hotel front desk or office administrative experience required.

Job Summary

Summary: Checks guests in and out of the hotel, resolves challenges during guests’ stays, and promotes hotel services and amenities, upselling products where appropriate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes and acknowledges each guest with a smile, eye contact and friendly greeting, using the guest's name when possible.
  • Anticipates guests' service needs by asking questions, listening to preferences and taking action when possible.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers.
  • Answers telephones with appropriate etiquette; transfers calls and relays messages as needed.
  • Processes guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms and activating room keys.
  • Handles all payment types, including room charges and cash, check, debit and credit transactions.
  • Processes check-outs and resolves issues related to late or disputed charges.
  • Answers, records and processes guest calls, messages, requests, questions and concerns.
  • Follows up with guests to ensure issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Coordinates with Housekeeping to track room readiness and report guest concerns.
  • Communicates parking procedures and coordinates with bell staff and valet as necessary.
  • Provides guests directions and information regarding the property and local points of interest.
  • Runs daily reports, identifies special requests and checks reports for accuracy.
  • Assigns rooms according to guest requests and preferences whenever possible.
  • Completes designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system; balances and drops receipts according to accounting specifications.
  • Practices safety standards at all times and complies with record retention and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
