Guest Room Attendant (Hotel Room Cleaning)$15.00/hr + overtime. The Burks Companies, Inc. (TBC) is hiring full‑time Guest Room Attendants / Housekeepers. This position’s starting pay is $14.50/hour, depending on experience. TBC offers a comprehensive housekeeping training program and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, holiday and vacation pay.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GUEST ROOM ATTENDANT- Frontline team member, energized to provide positive experiences to guests, wearing the uniform with pride and equipped with the best training and supplies.
- Responsible for reporting room discrepancies and maintenance problems to the supervisor.
- Replace room amenities, literature and other items as directed by supervisor and prescribed by brand standards.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and provide proof of eligibility.
- Age: 21 or older.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, stooping, and standing for extended periods).
- Must be able to work with various cleaning tools and chemicals while following all safety and hygiene standards.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
- All positions are subject to background and employment verification.
- Customer Service: Respond promptly to customer needs, requests for service and assistance. Respond to special requests from guests.
- Safety and Security: Observe safety and security procedures; report potentially unsafe conditions; use chemicals and equipment properly. Wear gloves while cleaning guest rooms. Responsible for any assigned keys and for following key control policies.
- Dependability: Consistent attendance and punctuality. Arrive at scheduled meetings and appointments on time. Willing to work holidays and weekends as required by the industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Six months of housekeeping experience is a plus.
