Located in Pahrump, NV, Desert View Hospital is a critical access hospital that has provided high quality healthcare to residents of Nye County for over ten years and offers a range of dedicated services, including emergency care, physical therapy, wound care, radiology, surgery, a 24‑hour laboratory and cardiopulmonary care.

• Responsible for the timely preparation, seasoning and cooking of food for patients, employees, physicians and visitors.
• Performs similar or related duties.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Graduate from a formal school specializing in institutional cooking preferred.

• Previous experience preferred.

• Current Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card.

• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
