Indeck Energy Services is looking for an individual with combined cycle power plant experience to fill an immediate position. Responsible for the overall facility safety, operations, and maintenance activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Directs and evaluates the day-to- day operation and maintenance of the facility.
- Prepares, issues and updates operating and maintenance procedures.
- Implements the facility Preventive Maintenance Program.
- Schedules the operating and maintenance workforce.
- Prepares operating and maintenance reports and records.
- Manages the Spare Parts Inventory.
- Supervises training of operating and maintenance personnel.
- Administers salary, performance evaluations, and advancement programs for operating and maintenance personnel.
- Plans, schedules and supervises scheduled outages.
- Directs the work of contractors.
- Arrange for timely deliveries of facility products.
- Assists Plant Manager in the execution of facility NERC Compliance Program.
- Manages plant level maintenance, testing, logging and reporting requirements for NERC and NPCC reliability standards.
- Supports Plant Manager bidding and scheduling activities with NYISO.
- EQR and EIA data submittal support.
- Manages tank inventories and chemical bulk storage tank inspections.
- Five years operating power plant experience.
- Detailed knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment, control systems, maintenance techniques and safe work practices.
- Proven supervisory and managements skills.
- Schedule, Supervise, and Review / Approve results of:
- Cylinder Gas Audits.
- Linearity.
- Relative Accuracy Test Audits.
- Review and Approve:
- Daily Calibrations.
- Daily Emission Reports.
- Monthly Emission Reports.
- Manage:
- The Preparation and Completion of Quarterly Reports, Review and Approve for Submittal to the Plant Manager.
- The Preparation and Completion of Deviation Reports, Review and Approve for submittal to The Plant Manager.
- The Preparation and Completion of Title V Compliance Demonstration Reports, Review and Approve for Submittal to the Manager of Regulatory Affairs.
- The Troubleshooting and Maintenance of Probes, Instruments, Analyzes and Data Acquisition Software.
- The Certification of Fuel Flow Monitors.
- Ensure Staff Competence for the CEM/DAHS.
- Quality Assure All Emission Data.
- Reconcile Emission Data with Permit Limits and Operating Parameters.
- Prepare Emission Data (i.e. coding, exceedances, etc.) for Submission of EDR.
- Understand the EPA/DEC Regulations/Guidance Documents (i.e. Part 60, 75 OTC Guidance, Acid Rain,
- Policy Manual and NTDAHS Users Guide).
- Understand and ensure compliance with SPDES permit conditions.
- Duration: Full Time, Regular.
- Salary Range: Depending on experience.
