Rate: $170.00 per day or $20.00 per hour

Job Goal:

To provide instruction in the classroom when teachers are absent for any of a variety of reasons.

Qualifications:

Must pass a reference check and drug and alcohol testing.
Must obtain a Substitute Teacher License from the Nevada Department of

Education:

• Applicants must have 60 college credits to be eligible for a Certified Substitute Teacher license.
• Applicants who have not earned 60 college credits must have a HS diploma or equivalent to be eligible for an Emergency Substitute Teacher license.

Must complete two days of classroom observations.

This vacancy is for Northern Nye Schools (Amargosa, Beatty, Gabbs, Round Mountain, and Tonopah Schools only). Southern Nye applicants will not be considered for this vacancy.
