Sr Project Architect

Overview

We have an immediate need for an in-office full-time Senior Architect with exceptional creativity and superb technical knowledge. Must be proficient in and capable of managing all phases of the design process, with a full understanding of western wood framing and construction for residential and commercial projects. Responsible for assembling full sets of construction documents for submittal and managing the production staff, including schematic design, design development, and construction drawings (site plans, foundation plans, floor plans, exterior elevations, electrical/HVAC/plumbing layout, cross sections, interior elevations, structural, etc.).

• Lead and contribute to all phases of the design process from schematic design through construction documentation.
• Assemble complete construction documents for submittal and manage the production staff.
• Develop site plans, foundation plans, floor plans, exterior elevations, electrical/HVAC/plumbing layouts, cross sections, interior elevations, and structural drawings.
• Collaborate within a team environment and communicate effectively; demonstrate leadership and strong written communication skills.
• Multi-task across several projects and priorities at one time.

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Experience with Sketch Up, Bluebeam, Lumion, Photoshop, Acrobat Reader/Writer, PowerPoint, Word and Excel is desired.
• In-house architectural Senior Architect with strong technical and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
