IT Business Analyst

Swisslinx is seeking a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging role as an IT Business Analyst, with a strong background in IT Consulting and Project Management. You will take responsibility for strategic IT projects as well as day to day operations and support the teams with solutions.

• Project management of IT initiatives in the field of industrial automation (e.g. SCADA).
• Analyzing business requirements and identifying technological solutions to increase efficiency.
• Coordination of interdisciplinary project teams from IT, operations and external partners - nationally and internationally.
• Interface function between operational employees, IT departments and management level.
• Planning and managing resources, schedules and budgets.
• Ensuring system availability and security in collaboration with infrastructure and service teams.

• Completed studies (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a closely related field, with strong technical and analytical foundations.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT consulting, preferably within industrial or manufacturing environments, with exposure to large-scale projects and enterprise systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of Industrial Automation systems, including DCS and SCAD.
• Experience in configuring, integrating, or optimizing these systems is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency with software tools, programming, and data analysis relevant to industrial IT environments. Familiarity with system architectures, data flows, and automation protocols is a plus.
• Fluent in English (mandatory) and very good command of French, both written and spoken, to support collaboration with international teams and clients.
