About the Role
As an  Inventory Control Employee  at Johnson Controls, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. Your work will directly support efficient warehouse operations and a smooth supply chain process. By maintaining precise inventory records and performing regular checks, you help minimize discrepancies and keep our operations running at peak performance.

What You Will Do

Cycle Counting & Audits:  Perform scheduled cycle counts and periodic audits to verify stock levels and maintain data integrity.

Stock Movements:  Transfer products for quality or location corrections and update inventory records accordingly.

FIFO Compliance:  Inspect items for usability and expiry dates, ensuring First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principles are applied.

Inbound Process Checks:  Conduct spot checks to confirm correct putaway and replenishment processes.

Locate Inventory:  Investigate and resolve misplaced stock issues.

Compliance & Safety:  Follow company policies, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Cross-Team Support:  Assist other warehouse teams during peak periods with tasks such as sorting, picking, scrapping, and relabeling.

What We Are Looking For

Education:

Minimum MBO diploma; experience in logistics preferred.

Skills:

Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.

Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems and MS Office.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Language:  English or Dutch at an intermediate level.

Physical Ability:  Comfortable performing tasks such as lifting, moving, and counting inventory items.

Certifications:

Ability to operate material handling equipment and handle dangerous goods (preferred).
