Operating in a highly collaborative and innovation-focused environment, the team combines strong scientific expertise with hands‑on experimentation to create new solutions that can be applied in real product development.

For the Advanced Technology team, we are looking for a Protein Innovation Technologist (Alternative Proteins) with a curious, hands‑on mindset and a strong interest in protein science. This role supports research activities related to plant‑based and other alternative proteins, helping to generate scientific insights and accelerate innovation through well‑designed experiments and high‑quality data.

• Design and execute experiments focused on protein ingredients and final product matrices
• Explore protein functionality, stability, molecular properties, and ingredient interactions
• Proactively propose experimental approaches and refine methods together with the team
• Document experimental work in a structured and reliable way, ensuring data quality and traceability
• Analyze results critically and translate findings into clear conclusions and recommendations
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across the protein team and broader technology group, sharing learnings and challenging ideas constructively
• Communicate results, challenges, and next steps clearly to support decision‑making across projects

• Background in food science, food technology, or a related scientific field
• Interest in alternative proteins and a strong research mindset
• Experience with protein functionality and/or protein characterization is preferred
• Hands‑on experimental skills, ideally with physico‑chemical analysis of protein ingredients
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a structured way of working
• Able to work independently, take ownership, and communicate transparently
• Strong team player with a proactive and critical mindset
• Fluent in English
