Role Description

As a Product Excellence Manager, you will join a Center of Excellence team within a specialized research and innovation environment. The role focuses on driving efficiency, data quality, and digital transformation initiatives across product development and manufacturing interfaces. You will play a key role in supporting the implementation of a global end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, ensuring high-quality data migration, harmonization of ingredient and recipe specifications, and strong collaboration between research, innovation, and factory stakeholders.

This is a project-based role requiring strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of a global PLM and formulation system across research and factory interfaces.
  • Evaluate and cross-check data across multiple systems, including legacy and new PLM platforms, formulation tools, and dashboards.
  • Upgrade and validate recipe and specification data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure data quality standards are met in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to key stakeholders.
  • Represent category and business needs within cross-functional program teams.
  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and key users to deliver project milestones within agreed timelines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data governance and ways of working.
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in product development, food technology, or a related R&D environment.
  • Strong data orientation with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience working with PLM systems and understanding of data flows between systems (e.g. ERP, formulation tools, dashboards).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Proven stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and operate effectively in a dynamic, project-driven environment.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
