For a professional beach hospitality group in Zeeland, we are looking for a hands-on Shiftleader to guide the service team during the upcoming season.

This is not an office leadership role

• You work on the floor. You lead by example. And when it gets busy, you switch into action mode.

The role

• Lead and motivate a service team of ±15 team members
• Work actively in service (meewerkend voorman/-vrouw)
• Maintain overview during peak moments
• Drive energy, pace and team spirit
• Support upselling and ensure smooth service flow
• Report directly to the restaurant manager

Administrative tasks are largely handled by management and office, your focus is operational leadership.

Who are you?

• Experienced in hospitality service
• Understand how a restaurant operates
• Calm under pressure
• Energetic and decisive
• Comfortable motivating a young, active team
• Dutch speaking preferred
• English speaking candidates welcome

Previous leadership experience is a plus, but this can also be your next step up if you are ready

• Experience with reservation systems and upselling is beneficial.

What we offer

• €18.50 – €19.00 per hour (including holiday allowance)
• Tips on top of hourly wage
• Average 38 hours per week
• Overtime paid
• Full-time seasonal contract (until end of October)
• Accommodation available (single private room in shared house)
• Possibility for direct employment after the season
• Or flexibility to move on if you prefer new experiences
