About the role
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Datacenter Engineer with expertise in storage and backups to join our team. As an Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing storage and backup solutions for our clients, ensuring the security and availability of their data.

Key responsibilities

Design and implement scalable and reliable storage architectures, including SAN, NAS, and object storage systems.

Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and timely restoration in case of system failures or data loss.

Configure and optimize backup software and hardware solutions, including disk and cloud-based backup services.

Monitor storage systems and backups to identify performance issues, capacity constraints, and potential risks, and take proactive measures to address them.

Conduct regular backup testing and verification to ensure the recoverability of data and maintain backup documentation and procedures.

Plan and execute data migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for storage and backup-related issues, working closely with internal teams to resolve problems in a timely manner.

Document system configurations, processes, and procedures, and create technical reports and presentations as needed.
