Wind Turbine Technician
Manpower IJmuiden, North Holland, Netherlands
Manpower is looking for an offshore senior Wind turbine technician for our client in IJmuiden.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems offshore wind turbines
Diagnosing and resolving faults (electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical)
Repairing or replacing components and parts as needed
Documenting all work accurately according to established procedures
Mentoring, supporting, and collaborating with junior service technicians
Working independently and safely in compliance with offshore safety standards
Ensuring turbines operate at optimal performance and remain fully operational

The working hours in this full‑time permanent role are Monday to Friday, following a 2‑weeks‑on / 2‑weeks‑off offshore rotation.
Who are you?
Technical MBO education. At least level 3
WTG Vestas basic and Level 1 & 2 training
At least three years of experience with Vestas turbines
Possess or willing to obtain NEN 3140 certifications
Possess or willing to obtain GWO certificates + medical clearance
Hold a VCA‑VOL certificate (or willing to obtain)
Able to work safely and independently offshore
Valid driver’s license B
Fluent in English because of job duties. Dutch is a plus
Comfortable with heights, proactive, and able to guide junior colleagues
Team‑oriented, stress‑resistant, and motivated to develop in the offshore wind sector
