We ARE Renewables is looking for a Senior Service Technician for our offshore team in IJmuiden, working on Vestas V80 turbines on the North Sea for one of our clients.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems;

Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical failures;

Carry out repairs and component replacements;

Accurately document work according to internal procedures;

Guide, support, and mentor junior service technicians;

Work safely and independently according to all standards, legislation, and client processes;

Travel daily by boat to the wind farm to perform maintenance and service on turbines;

Serve as a role model and mentor within a close-knit offshore team of 6–12 colleagues.

14 days on / 14 days off rotation;

12-hour shifts, including boat transfers to and from the turbines;

Accommodation provided during your offshore rotation;

Your profile

Completed technical vocational education (MBO level 3 or 4, or equivalent);

WTG Vestas Basic and Level 1 & 2 training certificates;

NEN 3140 and preferably NEN 3840 certification (or willingness to obtain);

Minimum 3 years of experience working with Vestas turbines preferred;

Valid GWO certificates and medical check (or willingness to obtain quickly);

VCA-VOL certificate (or willingness to obtain);

Driving license B;

Good command of English;
Dutch is a plus;

Comfortable working at heights and in an offshore environment;

Reside in the IJmuiden area or willing to commute and stay in provided accommodation during rotation.
