This position requires shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three days a week, with every other weekend required.

Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Key responsibilities include planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patients' needs. The role requires identifying patient needs, determining priorities for care, and continuously assessing and adjusting the individual plan of care.
Responsibilities

• Initiate assessments based on patient problems, physician diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.

• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.

• Document care in accordance with standards of care and practice.

• Advocate for evidence-based care standards and support innovative practices in care delivery.

• Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.

• Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of experience in acute adult oncology, specializing in leukemia and lymphoma, in an inpatient setting.

• ASN required; BSN preferred.

• BLS certification from AHA required.

• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required.

• Telemetry and Chemotherapy certification with ONS preferred.
