- Conduct field research and trials related to tropical and sub-tropical crops postharvest activities and sweet potato product development.
- Engage with project team members within the project.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment; perform basic laboratory tests and record experimental data accurately.
- Ability to work for extended time periods in the laboratory and field environment.
- Collect, capture and process materials for laboratory analysis and agro-processing activities.
- Assist with postharvest and agro-processing operations, including sweet potato product development, fruit pulping, drying, juicing, and product preservation.
- Compile verbal and written reports detailing methodologies, activities, and research findings for supervisors and project lead.
- Contribute towards the dissemination of outcomes through presentations and publications.
- Ensure compliance with the applicable OHS, GMP and Food Safety policies and procedures.
