Area Sales Manager

UP TO £50,000 + UNCAPPED COMMISSION + COMPANY CAR

Get Recruited is recruiting on behalf of a well-established distributor seeking an Area Sales Manager.

The position is based primarily from the company’s northern site and covers a large territory across the eastern side of the UK. The role focuses on maintaining existing customer relationships, generating new business from sales enquiries produced through internal marketing activity, and achieving sales targets.

• Manage and develop relationships with both existing and new customers.
• Plan and organise sales activity across your allocated territory.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the customer base.
• Produce accurate sales forecasts and work towards agreed targets.
• Attend relevant meetings, training sessions, exhibitions, and industry events.
• Take ownership of personal performance targets and contribute to overall business profitability.

• Previous experience in a field-based sales role would be advantageous.
• Must have B2B sales experience, ideally within machinery, manufacturing, industrial, packaging, distribution or similar industries.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• Open to a background in Engineering looking to start a sales career.
• Must be based within a commutable distance to Nelson.
