Manufacturing Operator - Fluidcare

Quaker Houghton is a global leader in industrial process fluids. We deliver a wide range of services in many business segments such as Aerospace, Automotive & Metals. This position will be working at the ROLLS ROYCE facility in Barnoldswick an aerospace parts manufacturing site.

The Fluidcare Technician will receive full training to be able to manage all activities required to ensure that we provide a quality service according to the customer contract requirements. This role is key to ensure we continue to exceed customer expectations. Our customers’ success is our own.

• Perform a wide range of operational support activities at the ROLLS ROYCE site, which control the optimal condition of Metal Working lubricants, greases, coolants, cleaners and other Quaker Houghton industrial fluids used in the customer´s manufacturing process.
• Analyse on-site equipment & products in order to decide the proper adjustments, i.e. Servicing of coolant management as required. Communicate to customer the resulting information & recommendations.
• Manage and maintain high cleanliness standards and condition monitoring across the customer facility where our products operate.
• Ensure that machines are tested in line with EHS guidelines and are free from any contamination & debris. Update machine charts for operator visibility and complete test data reports.

• This position requires no previous experience as full training will be provided however, knowledge of working in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
• We are looking for a person eager to learn and develop a career in the industrial sector.
• Basic IT skills would be beneficial
