We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting a female client with a Learning Disability and Sensory needs based in Colne.
About the RoleAs a Care Support Assistant
, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £14.75 per hour.
This position is for 24 hours per week and includes a mixture of both day shifts and waking night shifts. Current shift pattern is 8am – 8pm days, 8pm-8am waking nights.
Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant- Support our client with her personal care needs and toileting needs
- Assist clients in their daily routines, encouraging independence wherever possible
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with household tasks and meal preparation
- Support clients to attend appointments and community activities
- Administer medication when required
- A caring and empathetic nature
- A genuine desire to support others
- Basic IT and record‑keeping skills
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous
- Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
